A woman has given birth on a packed Alitalia flight

PREGNANT passenger sparked a mid-air drama when she gave birth on a packed flight from Milan to Paris, Italy’s ANSA reported.

The mother, a French national, went into labour halfway through Wednesday’s Alitalia flight AZ 3508 from Linate Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle, the news agency reported.

The aircraft landed just in time for medics to dash on board to help safely complete the birth, to the rapturous applause of passengers.
